Certificate in Language
Teaching with Technology:
In Fall 2018, I completed the course "Tools in Practice (part I)" as part of the Language Teaching with Technology certificate from the University of Colorado Boulder. During this course, I developed a TechEd project in which my sixth-graders reviewed and reinforced cultural concepts about the Renaissance in Spain, as well as the importance of Diego Velázquez and Juan de Pareja in art. Additionally, students revisited and practiced grammar concepts learned throughout the school year. You can find more details about this project in the link provided at the end of this page.
Workshops for Teachers
Focused on TechEd and Teaching World Language:
I also offer workshops tailored to teachers with a focus on TechEd and teaching world languages through culture. During these workshops, I demonstrate sample lessons that integrate interactive instruction and cultural topics using tools such as SMART Notebook, iPad apps, Google Forms, and other online resources and platforms. These tools can be adapted for various subjects and learning environments, accommodating a wide range of ages. Furthermore, attendees have dedicated time to develop their own materials for use in their classrooms.
